He loves
to be known, but hates to be seen.
Since his
earliest days, he was always moving around, every
place and home being transient and nothing more.
His first true home was Heliocentri City,
where he met an Inkling that he refers
to as 'Shoko'. Through their bond, Wonder
was able to develop into who they are today.
After a few years, they took the move to Splatsville,
leaving Shoko behind. The reason for these actions
are unknown. Wonder spent their early days in the
Splatlands holding Shoko's memory close, but has
since tried to move on and start anew.
He currently lives in an apartment
in Eeltail Alley with his sister. When he
arrived, he was quick to make some friends, be it
through battles, work, or wild encounters. Ever
since, they've been living it up in the city life.
They want to gain a social media presence with the
people in Splatsville, bringing their friends along
with him. Wonder enjoys the fashion of Splatville,
expressed through his interest in photography. Them
and their friends are usually the center of his
work.
Wonder takes battles seriously, holding
high rankings in Anarchy and X Battle. He wants to
make it on a big team someday, but usually rolls
solo. Some people say the first weapon he ever held
was a Splatana. When he's not slinging ink, he's
usually at home making or dismantling weapons.
He likes going out
and finding old records to analyse and use in his
works, some being copies of songs from an age long
past. They're secretely hoping to hit it big making
music. He has a large appreciation for the niche
bands that aren't big enough to be played in
official battles.
His life began to REALLY
get exciting when he entered Undertow Spillway at
the wrong time. The CCTV crew had set foot in the
sewers, scanning the area for something or
someone. Who they found was Wonder, who had just
stolen something important. He managed to escape
their grasp, but they never forget a face. His
prize was a note from Agent SWEET MEMORIES, which
by its very existence has marked Wonder as a target,
as well changing the course of his life forever.
This event caused Ghosty to look into
him further, following him around Splatsville and
beyond at the command of the New Squidbeak Splatoon.
They wouldn't meet until much later, having a
conversation under the stars in Sturgeon Shipyard that
lasted until the brink of dawn.
Wonder thinks he's weird, but not so different to
himself.
His little life has fallen between fresh peace and
looming destiny, as he was contacted by one of CCTV's
children, Agent SWEET MEMORIES. He found that they
had entered his home, leaving a container with
shoddy blueprints and the parts of a Splatana.
Wonder grew more paranoid as time went on, trying
to construct signals that would reach this mysterious
person, as well as trying to make a sword that could
'cleanse' the control of CCTV. It took until he had
recovered his memories
of that day for Agent SWEET MEMORIES' direct requests to
appear, detailing his failure. He now lies between
a state of guilt while trying to uphold his established
lifestyle, all the while trying to take it on alone.
After learning the truth, and putting his experience to work,
Wonder created the Decavitator from the pieces recieved from
Agent SWEET MEMORIES, and funding from his
official partnership with Neo after Sheldon's own endorsement.
This weapon was made to cleanse CCTV
members of the white noise within their soul, setting them
free for good. After testing this weapon on Chance, a former
CCTV member, Wonder carries into the future with strong regrets
yet high hopes.
